Next summer we are partnering with Zoe Empowers to provide the experience of a lifetime! After 3 years of financial support, we are taking a trip to Kenya to meet the Zoe Empowers in-country staff members and the incredible young people who are being empowered to move beyond charity. Experience first hand how the Zoe Empowers model is changing lives socially, economically, and spiritually. On a trip, we will visit with and learn from young people who are engaged in the Zoe Empowers program. We will have an opportunity to be a guest in their homes and see how the relationships they have with fellow group members are providing them with an extended family within their communities. You will witness firsthand how their group projects and businesses are helping them to thrive in the midst of adversity. After all of that the trip will wrap up with an African Safari. After this trip you will return home with renewed hope as you are inspired by the stories of the young people who have been supported by this church and are moving from poverty to self-sustainability. An interest meeting about this trip will be held on Sunday, December 11th following the 10:45 service in A5. Come and learn more about it!
