Following Jesus is the most important decision you can make in your life.
What does it mean to follow Jesus?
When we make a decision to follow Jesus, we’re acknowledging that our way isn’t working anymore. That we’re done flying solo, and we’re giving Jesus control.
When we follow Jesus, we’re never alone. Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. He gives us His Spirit to guide us and access to God, who loves and cares for us.
How do I start to follow Jesus?
We begin to follow Jesus when we make the decision to believe and receive the good news that Jesus came, died, and rose again for our sin.
When we choose to follow Jesus we turn away from our sin and turn toward Jesus.
